Emily, a dedicated and driven individual, originally hails from Sydney but now calls the vibrant city of Hobart her home. As a semi-professional athlete, she knows the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and discipline, all of which she seamlessly translates into her work ethic. Balancing her love for Australian Football League (AFL) and cricket with her professional responsibilities, Emily demonstrates a commitment of focus across all facets.
Emily is fiercely passionate about uplifting and supporting Indigenous communities, a cause that brought her to the Indigenous Defence and Infrastructure Consortium (iDiC) over two years ago. In her dual roles as a Security and Compliance Officer and an Administrator for iDiC, she continually demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of Indigenous businesses unique needs and challenges.
Her role as a Security and Compliance Officer involves ensuring that iDiC adheres to necessary regulations and standards, safeguarding the interests of both the consortium and the Indigenous businesses it serves. Simultaneously, her administrative duties see her streamline processes, create efficiencies, and facilitate communication among the team, aligned with iDiC’s operations and mission.
The athletic strength she exhibits on the field aligns perfectly with the energy and determination she brings to the table at iDiC. Her enduring commitment to indigenous empowerment and professional development in the security and business sector makes her an invaluable member of the iDiC team.

Away from work Emily helps manage a gym in Hobart, does personal training, enjoys exploring Tasmania with her Partner and has a big passion and love for Music.
